New York Yankees fans are among the best in baseball. They are incredibly passionate about their team and are not shy about expressing their displeasure when players underperform.
Take Aaron Judge, for example. Despite being the 2022 American League MVP and the star of the Yankees, Judge got off to a slow start this season. How did the fans react? They booed him.

A few months later, Judge is now a leading contender for AL MVP for the second time in three seasons, competing with several players, including his teammate Juan Soto.
Soto missed the Yankees’ recent series against the Los Angeles Dodgers due to forearm discomfort but is not expected to go on the injured list. The Yankees did not provide a definite status on Soto, leaving open the possibility he might play in one of the weekend games against L.A. However, Soto did not appear in any of the three games, disappointing the fans. At one point in Sunday’s game, fans voiced their frustration to Yankees manager Aaron Boone, indicating they wanted to see their star outfielder in action.
