Syracuse football has added another recruit to their future roster with the commitment of Class of 2025 offensive lineman Skylar Harvey. Just as it seemed Fran Brown might be slowing down in recruiting, the Orange secured the 6’6”, 350 lbs. tackle from Archbishop Curley High School in Baltimore on Monday. Harvey, a three-star prospect, is ranked as the #97 interior OL and the #38 prospect in Maryland according to the On3 Composite rankings.
Brown’s staff offered Harvey in April, and he was among nine recruits who took an official visit to Syracuse’s campus this past weekend. He also had offers from Virginia Tech, Pitt, BC, UConn, Temple, JMU, and others, and visited Penn State, Maryland, and Rutgers.
With Harvey’s verbal commitment, Syracuse’s Class of 2025 now includes 20 recruits, with Harvey being the fourth offensive lineman alongside Byron Washington, Kardiear Shepherd, and Matthew Hawn.
