Oregon Secures Four-Star OT Over Florida State, Florida, and Miami
Ziyare Addison, a four-star offensive tackle from Riverview, Florida, had strong prospects of staying in-state with his college commitment. His final choices included Florida State, Miami, and Florida. However, Addison decided to head to the Northwest, committing to Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks.
The 6-foot-5, 290-pound senior, ranked as the No. 14 offensive tackle in the 2025 class by 247Sports, chose Oregon over other notable programs like Penn State, Georgia, and UCLA.
Oregon gains an athletic and versatile offensive lineman with Addison, who also excels in wrestling and track. His athleticism and potential for positional versatility make him a promising prospect for the Ducks. Andrew Irvins of 247Sports describes Addison as a potential multi-year starter capable of playing various positions on the offensive line, depending on his physical development.
Landing Addison is a significant recruiting achievement for Lanning and his staff, marking a major victory in pulling such a talent from Florida.
