BREAKING: Badgers Secure Commitment from Three-Star Indiana TE Nizyi Davis
The Wisconsin Badgers have landed their top tight end target following a successful official visit. On Monday, 2025 three-star tight end Nizyi Davis announced his commitment to the Badgers. Davis becomes the fifth player to commit to the Badgers during official visits, joining cornerbacks Rukeem Stroud and Jahmare Washington, and offensive linemen Logan Powell and Nolan Davenport.
The Badgers extended an offer to Davis last September and maintained communication with the Indiana native as their tight end board evolved. They made a strong push this spring, which led to Davis taking his first official visit to Wisconsin, ultimately securing his commitment.
Before his decision, Davis had official visits lined up with the Badgers, Kansas Jayhawks, and Purdue Boilermakers, the latter being close to his hometown.
Davis will join a tight end room that recently added Rob Booker and Grant Stec from the 2024 class. The team expects only one departure after this season, redshirt senior Riley Nowakowski.
With this commitment, Davis becomes the 16th member of the Badgers’ 2025 class.
