Texas CB Bryson Webber Recaps Official Visit to Oregon State

Bryson Webber, a 4-star cornerback from Ridge Point High School in Missouri City, TX, was one of the two 4-star recruits visiting Oregon State this weekend. The official visits concluded successfully, with several prospects, including Webber, in attendance.

Webber, who was on his first official visit, left impressed. “It was great, definitely exceeded my expectations,” he said. The highlight for him was spending time with potential future teammates and getting to know the players and other recruits. “Definitely spending time with the players and the other recruits, seeing how they liked OSU as well,” Webber shared.

During his visit, Webber spent time with true freshman cornerback Exodus Ayers and sophomore Andre Jordan, finding the experience reminiscent of hanging out with friends back home. Webber recently listed his top six schools, which include Oregon State, Utah, Nebraska, TCU, Kansas, and Baylor. He plans to visit all six before making his commitment on the Fourth of July.

Before his visit, the 6-foot-3, 175-pound cornerback mentioned his anticipation to meet the rest of the staff and check out the facilities and classrooms. On the visit, he was particularly intrigued by the family atmosphere on campus. “Everyone seemed genuine, from the coaches, players, and even the fans,” he noted.
