Former Louisville Kicker John Wallace Dies at 31
Former Louisville kicker John Wallace passed away on Wednesday at the age of 31, the university announced. The cause of death was not disclosed. Wallace played for the Cardinals from 2012 to 2015, setting a school record with 66 career field goals.
He notably kicked two field goals in Louisville’s 33-23 victory over Florida in the 2013 Sugar Bowl. His most accurate season was in 2013, when he made 20 of 24 field-goal attempts (83.3 percent) and scored a career-high 112 points.
