Jerry Jeudy received a warm reception from Cleveland on Tuesday night, amidst the city’s vibrant sports scene boasting successful runs across its major teams.
The Guardians currently lead the American League Central with a 19-9 record, while the Browns recently clinched a playoff spot for only the second time in two decades. Meanwhile, the Cavaliers find themselves in the playoffs for just the second time since LeBron James’ departure in 2018.
During Tuesday’s Cavaliers game against the Orlando Magic, Jerry Jeudy, one of the Browns’ recent acquisitions, made an appearance, delighting the crowd. In a video shared by WEWS sports reporter Carly Mascitti on Twitter, Jeudy could be seen energizing the audience. When introduced during the first quarter, Jeudy received a warm ovation from the Browns-friendly crowd. Having joined the Browns in March via a trade with the Broncos, Jeudy’s presence added to the excitement.
Notably, other players, including Dawand Jones, a local favorite and second-year offensive tackle, were also spotted at Cavaliers games recently. Jeudy, entering his fifth NFL season after being Denver’s first-round pick in 2020, has amassed impressive statistics, with 211 receptions, 3,053 yards, and 11 touchdowns over his career. His 2022 season, in particular, marked a peak, recording 67 catches for 972 yards and six touchdowns as a former Bronco.
