AC Milan has intensified their pursuit of Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy by increasing their communication with the player to gauge his level of interest.
According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport via Milan News, the Rossoneri are keeping their options open regarding strikers for the upcoming summer transfer window, and Guirassy is among the names under consideration.
Guirassy presents a financially attractive option for Milan with a release clause of €17.5m, making him the most economical choice. However, at 28 years old, he is older than other targets, and there are uncertainties about his ability to replicate his form from Stuttgart in Italy.
Milan is keen to maintain Guirassy’s interest as a fallback option in case potential moves for players like Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna or Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig do not materialize.
Guirassy’s impressive record of 25 Bundesliga goals in 24 appearances this season has drawn attention from clubs across Europe, increasing the likelihood of his release clause being triggered. He has also demonstrated his scoring prowess with two goals in the DFB Pokal.
With Olivier Giroud departing for LAFC, Milan recognizes the urgent need to secure a prolific striker during the summer transfer window.
