Coach Calipari Secures First Signing with Zvonimir Ivišić for Arkansas Razorbacks In a significant development for Arkansas men’s basketball, head coach John Calipari has announced the signing of 7-2 forward Zvonimir Ivišić to the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Ivišić, whose name is pronounced ZVON-uh-meer EE-vee-sitch, spent his freshman season at Kentucky and will have three years of eligibility remaining.

During the 2023-24 season at Kentucky: Despite missing the first 16 games, he made his debut against Georgia on Jan. 20, 2024. Played in 15 games, averaging 5.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game. Impressively shot 57.7% from the field, 37.5% from 3-point range, and 77.3% from the free-throw line. Notable performances include a season-high 18 points against No. 13 Alabama and a season-best nine rebounds against Arkansas.

Prior to College: Averaged 11.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.4 blocks per game in the FIBA U20 European Championship for Croatia. Played for SC Derby in Montenegro, averaging 5.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per game in the Adriatic League. Personal: Born on Aug. 9, he is the son of Mladenko and Marina Ivišić and has three siblings, including his twin brother Tomislav.
