AC Milan is among three clubs expressing interest in securing the services of Real Betis playmaker Nabil Fekir during the upcoming summer transfer window, according to a report. The Spanish website Fichajes indicates that several teams have displayed interest in the French midfielder, prompting Real Betis to consider potential negotiations.
In addition to Milan, Turkish club Galatasaray and Saudi Arabian side Al Ittihad have also emerged as contenders for Fekir’s signature. Fekir, recognized as a key player for Betis, is seen by Milan as a valuable addition to their attacking lineup, given his versatility to operate across the front three in Milan’s 4-2-3-1 formation.
Despite Fekir’s relatively subdued performance this season, with only one goal and two assists in 13 LaLiga appearances and no goals in other competitions, Betis remains open to discussing a deal. Fekir’s limited game time can be attributed in part to a back injury sustained in February 2023, which sidelined him for a significant portion of the season. However, he recently returned from injury, aiming to bolster his contributions to the team.
With Fekir’s contract set to expire in 2026, any improvement in his performance leading up to the summer transfer window could potentially enhance his market value and influence his salary expectations.
