The Houston Texans have confirmed the acquisition of cornerback C.J. Henderson on Friday, a former top-10 draft selection. Henderson, aged 25, met with the Texans on Thursday prior to finalizing the deal, although the specifics of the agreement were not disclosed. Previously, Henderson had spent over two seasons with the Carolina Panthers after being drafted ninth overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2020.
Across 49 games, including 32 starts, with both the Panthers and Jaguars, Henderson has amassed three interceptions, 16 passes defended, and 172 tackles.
