Three Charlton Athletic players who might be sold for a fee this summer include Ashley Maynard-Brewer, Miles Leaburn, and Terry Taylor.
Ashley Maynard-Brewer, the goalkeeper, has seen reduced playing time since Nathan Jones took over as manager, making him a candidate for departure. Despite being the primary goalkeeper earlier in the season, Maynard-Brewer has been relegated to backup status under Jones. At 24 years old, with his contract running until 2026, the club could opt to cash in on him.
Miles Leaburn, a promising forward, faced transfer interest from Brentford and Chelsea earlier in the season but was sidelined due to a five-month injury layoff. His absence and injury history might make Charlton Athletic more open to selling him during the upcoming transfer window.
Terry Taylor, a midfielder signed from Burton Albion last summer, has failed to secure a regular spot in the team under either Michael Appleton or Nathan Jones. Despite being a recent acquisition and having youth international experience with both Scotland and Wales, Taylor’s lack of impact could see Charlton Athletic considering his sale.
