PSG’s hopes receive a lift amid reports of their interest in AC Milan prodigy Francesco Camarda, whose future at the Serie A club is uncertain. While several teams eye the talented teenager, English clubs may face obstacles in their pursuit.
Camarda, who recently turned 16, is now eligible to ink his maiden professional contract with Milan, a deal the Italian club is keen to finalize and announce soon. However, with offers from various clubs tempting him to consider his options, the decision-making process for him and his representatives may be delayed.
Reports suggest that Premier League heavyweights Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Manchester United are among the suitors vying for Camarda’s signature. However, post-Brexit regulations mandate that English clubs must wait until the player turns 18 before he can join, aligning with the process for signing South American players. This gives Milan an advantage, as any potential move to England would be delayed until 2026.
Nevertheless, Camarda retains the option to transfer within the European Union, attracting interest from other top clubs like PSG, Bayern Munich, and Borussia Dortmund, all eager to secure his promising talents.
