Zay Flowers, the talented wide receiver for the Baltimore Ravens, faced consequences following their season-ending loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. During the game, Flowers incurred a penalty for taunting against Chiefs cornerback L’Jarius Sneed.

The incident occurred in the waning moments of the third quarter when Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson completed a 54-yard pass. As Sneed tackled Flowers and clung to his leg, Flowers pushed off and subsequently threw the ball in the cornerback’s direction while positioning himself in front of him. This action drew a penalty flag, setting the Ravens back. The team faced additional challenges as Flowers was unable to reach the end zone later in the game.

The league later announced a fine of $10,927 for Zay Flowers due to the taunting incident. Additionally, Ravens’ defensive tackle Travis Jones received a fine of $6,700 for his hit on Patrick Mahomes, the star quarterback for the Chiefs.
