Ravens right tackle Morgan Moses has been fined $13,659 for unsportsmanlike conduct during his touchdown celebration in last Saturday’s divisional-round playoff victory against the Houston Texans, as announced by the NFL on Saturday.
Following quarterback Lamar Jackson’s 8-yard run that extended the Ravens’ lead to 30-10 in the fourth quarter, Moses engaged in a celebratory act by picking up a camera and mimicking the act of taking photographs of the team’s celebration near the tunnel and in the end zone. While using a football as a prop in touchdown celebrations is permitted, the use of other props is not allowed.
In addition to Moses’ fine, the Ravens have made roster moves for the upcoming AFC championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Practice squad wide receiver Dan Chisena and inside linebacker Josh Ross have been elevated to the active roster. This decision follows the listing of wide receiver Tylan Wallace (knee) as questionable and inside linebacker Del’Shawn Phillips as doubtful on the Ravens’ injury report. On the Chiefs’ side, wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hip/personal) has been ruled out, and defensive tackle Mike Pennell and cornerback Keith Taylor have been elevated from the practice squad for Sunday’s game.
