The Green Bay Packers have made changes to their coaching staff, with Head Coach Matt LaFleur announcing on Wednesday that Defensive Coordinator Joe Barry will not be returning. Barry, who has an extensive 22-year career in the NFL, served as the Packers’ Defensive Coordinator for the past three years.
Despite the Packers reaching the NFC Divisional round in the current season, the team concluded the campaign with a 17th ranking in total defense. While the defense showcased positive moments and achieved a top-10 ranking in the fewest points allowed, one notable concern for Green Bay throughout the season was their run defense, which ultimately ranked 28th in the league.
