Exclusive Update: Washington defensive back Mishael Powell is scheduled to visit Miami on Tuesday. In December, Miami addressed one of its safety openings by securing the transfer of Savion Riley from Vanderbilt. Efforts are underway to secure another experienced player to join Riley. According to InsideTheU, Powell, the former starting safety for Washington, recently visited the in-state Gators on Monday and is expected in South Florida early Tuesday afternoon. Standing at 6 feet 1 inch and weighing 210 pounds, Powell showcased versatility by starting in all 15 games for the national runner-up team in the previous season, primarily in the slot corner or safety positions.
